Consultant Laparoscopic/Robotic Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon
Mr Anantha Madhavan is a Consultant Laparoscopic/Robotic Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon based in Guildford. His NHS practice is based at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust and his private practice is based at Circle Health Mount Alvernia and Guildford Nuffield Hospital.
He specialises in the diagnosis and management of diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract, including the management of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, gallstones, oesophageal and gastric cancer. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of abdominal wall hernias, hiatal hernias and diaphragmatic hernias.
He has experience in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy with accreditation from JAG. He has a special interest in the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of Barretts oesophagus.
